You will receive a picture taken at the Commencement Ceremony, without a picture frame from the photo shop, Chayakorn ( First Digital Labmony) after the ceremony. If you wish to have a picture frame, you may contact the photo shop directly and pay for picture frame, Tel:  0-2671-4446 , 0-2671-7778

Yes, you can.

A neat looking tied back hairstyle with natural color hair. Bright colors are not recommended.

Please send an email to commencement@bu.ac.th to express your wish to attend the Commencement Ceremony by October 7-14, 2023 and await a response from the Office of the Registrar.

You may not be a graduating student of a current round of graduation registration. For further information and assistance, please add @BU1STOP on Line.

All graduating students at the undergraduate degree, master’s degree and doctoral degree are required to pay a fee for graduation registration of 2,000 baht.

You can return the academic gown at a drop off point in the University after the Commencement Ceremony or return directly at the Cattleya Shop within 60 days after the Commencement Ceremony.

Graduating students who have rented an academic gown and/or hood via the online system can take a receipt and a National Identification Card/Passport to collect the academic gown and/or hood at the Cattleya Shop (Pinklao) or call at Tel: 0-2881-9099, 08-1656-5299

Collect the gown and/or hood as from October 14, 2023 or during the rehearsal day of the Commencement Ceremony.

Please send an email to commencement@bu.ac.th to request for a tailor-made academic gown and hood (requests for a tailor-made academic gown and hood are only accepted from October 7-14, 2023) and await a response from the Office of the Registrar.

For graduating students of the undergraduate degree, you are required to rent an academic hood from the University but for an academic gown, you may rent from you preferred shop or bring your own.
For graduating students of the master’s degree and doctoral degree, you are required to rent both the academic gown and hood from the University.

Please send a email to commencement@bu.ac.th with your reasons for deferring your attendance and attach documentation such as a Certificate of Conference Participation, Certificate of Student Status in an overseas institution, Certificate of Maternity, to name but a few.

President of Bangkok University or a Representative

If you have requested that the degree certificate be mailed to you, the University will send the degree certificate to the given mailing address. If you wish to pick up your degree certificate in person, please visit the Office of the Registrar at Building A3, Floor 1. Both requests will be handled one week following the Commencement Ceremony.
